It's been arranged. Ferry-tickets have been purchased, and other practical arrangements are soon to follow. Seems like there's no way back now!
Coming weeks I hope to use for a smaller trip to the North of the Netherlands, just to check how the Alp rides fully-laden (and how I ride, fully laden :o) ). I have no idea as of yet what effect the several extra kilos will have on the handling, so it'll be interesting to see.
